I question if non-religious are really out numbered by such staggering numbers. As a civil marriage officiant I know that of the 38 marriages I have had the privilege officiating this year, 42 of the individuals indicated "non-denominational, atheist, none" when asked their religion. The majority of the other 30 that indicated a religion were quite adamant that they wanted a strictly non-religious ceremony.
